English annotation by Vishnudut1926: This is one of the best Granthas I have read this autumn.
Apart from the dwelling on such JnanaDeva notions as "ChidVilas", "SphurtiVada" and etc., the Grantha has a lot comparisons with Vaishnava-Sampradays-Siddhanta.
I was more than amazed to reveal that the Siddhanta of my Adorable Shree Ramanuja-Sampradaya is summarized in very proper way with the mentioning of Prapatti, "Shree PanchaRatra", "Shree Dravida-Veda" and even SaptaVidha Anupapatti (usually, basic books on Indian Philosophy mistakenly tell about OM VishnuPad Ramanuja-Acharya as the proponent of Bhakti, but Our MahAcharya was not Bhakta, he was a PRAPANNA).
Here is, for example, the excerpt from the Grantha:
The other highlight of The Grantha is the comparison of "ChidVilas"-notion by JnanaDeva with "Maya"-notion by Adi ShankarAcharya. And by the way, "ChidVilas"-notion by JnanaDeva is very similar to "LeelaVada-Siddhanta" by OM VishnuPad VallabhAcharya (Shree PushtiMarg-Sampradaya).
The main highlight of "The philosophy of Jnanadeva" is the English translation of "Shree AmritAnubhava" (2nd part of The Grantha).
"Shree AmritAnubhava" is the JnanaDeva's MASTERPIECE written in Marathi, you can hardly find any similar Grantha so exquisitely dwelling on Shakti-Siddhanta.
