Shree Vishnu-Mantra of the week...

THIS IS MANTRA NO. 609 FROM "SHREE VISHNU-SAHASRANAM".

श्रीविभावनाय नमः

shrIvibhAvanAya namaH

Tika by OM VishnuPad Parashara Bhatta MahAcharya (Shree Ramanuja-Sampradaya): The Glory and Splendour of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu is actually only due to His assosiation with Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi. 

And the Praman is "Shree Ramayana", the following words uttered by Maricha in front of Ravana: "The Tejas of Rama is Unfathomable because He is the Lord of Janaka's Daughter [Shreemati Sita-Devi or Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi]"

Tika by Shree ShankarAcharya: Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi (Shree) confers on men various kinds of wealth (Shree) according to their past karmas. 

Shakti-Mantra of the week...

The Shakti-Mantra of the week is Mantra NO. 609 from "Shree Lalita-SahasraNam:

ॐ दहराकाशरूपिण्यै नमः

OM daharAkAsharUpiNyai namaH

Translation: The Subtle Ether in a heart 

Tika by BhaskaraRaya MahAcharya: "Shree Vedanta-Sutra" 1.3.14 says: "The small ether is Brahman on account of subsequent (arguments)". 

The Shruti ("Shree Chandogya-Upanishad", 8.1.1) says: "There is in this city of Brahman the small lotus house and in it that small ether, that should be sought for". 

Here the ether of the heart is said to be Brahman.

Акрил и сортировка эфирных масел...

Уже полгода где-то забываю написать про то как промаркировала акрилом все свои эфирные масла, девчонки! 

Будучи венерианкой, я обладаю обширной коллекцией эфирных масел и когда масел много, то в них легко запутаться. 

Еще весной, при уборке, на меня из шкафа вывалились 2 пачки с почти уже засохшими акриловыми красками. 

Выбрасывать их было жалко и я решила попробовать разрисовать ими колпачки эфирных масел по группам (зеленые - ель, пихта и т.п., желтые - лимон, цитрус, мандариновое и т.д.). 

Идея более чем удалась - акрил идеально застыл на колпачках. Моим опасением как раз было, что акрил не застынет и будет отслаиваться при откручивании колпачков, но он держится уже почти пол-года. 

Подобная цветная маркировка очень облегчает составление смесей - например, если нужно смешать мяту, ель и лимон, то я просто сразу ищу среди зеленых и желтых колпачков.
