The Garland of Shree Vishnu-Mantras and Krishna-Sarupya-Mukti in "Shree NaraSimha-Purana"...

The story about Shree Markandeya-Muni and his escape from death via Shree Vasudeva-Mantra in "Shree NaraSimha-Purana" chunks into several sub-stories, including the sub-story in which hell dwellers obtain Krishna-Sarupya-Mukti thanks to the very simple garland of Mantras dedicated to Bhagavan Shree Vishnu.

"Shree NaraSimha-Purana", 8.41 says कृष्णरूपधराः सर्वे दिव्यवस्त्रविभूषिताःkRRiShNarUpadharAH sarve divyavastravibhUShitAH - "After reciting Vishnu-Mantras the hell dwellers had obtained Krishna-rupas in Shree Vishnu-Loka".

The below Sanskrit text is
from GRETIL (link, I have converted it from IAST to ITRANS) and the English translation is from this English edition - link to the English scan

The English translation is very clumsy (that's why I always recommend to study #the alternative Hindi translation of "Shree NaraSimha-Purana" from Varanasi), so my advice is just to read in Sanskrit: the Sanskrit text is very powerful, while the English version fails to convey all the connotations and meanings!

"Shree NaraSimha-Purana", 8.32-45
[Verses 8.32-39 belong to the Garland of Vishnu-Mantras]

Translation: "The hellish organisms said: "We salute  the great soul lord Keshava, by the recital of whose Holy Name the hellish fire is immediately  extinguished. Salute Lord Vishnu, the Ishvara  by offering Adimurti, always in peace and Master of the world.

Salutation to Sri Narayana who is Everlasting, incomparable in the form of Nrsimha, who holds a conch, shell, discus, mace and teachers the lokas.  The God, favourite to the Vedas, great and  dynamic in particular.

Salutation is conveyed to Lord Varaha who is beyond the scope of logic, in the form of the Vedas, holder of the Earth. Salutation to lord Brahma, born in Brahmin clan, learned in the Vedas and their segments (angas) and well-versed with a number of subjects. Lord Visnu in the form of Vamana is saluted as well!

He had tied Bali under promissory-estoppel, implemented and protected the Vedas. He is master of all gods, Omnipresent and the Supreme Soul.

Lord Chaturbhuja is saluted. He is in the form of Shuddha-Sattva. God Parashurama is saluted as he had destroyed the wicked Ksatriyas.

Salutation is conveyed to the great soul Sri Rama who had killed Ravana. Lord Govinda, we salute You as well! Please, pick us from this hell, full of tortures".

Translation: Vyasa said: "Sukadeva, the organisms  suffering from the hell-fire got immediate  relaxation when they recited the pious names of Lord Vishnu with keen devotion.
They turned in the form of Sri Krsna with divine fragrance smeared on their parts of  bodies, divine clothes and adorned with the  ornaments.
Then the servants of Lord Shree Vishnu appeared there and took them to the  abode of Lord Vishnu (Shree Vishnu-Loka) by aircraft (vimana).
Lord Yama again bowed his head before Lord Shree Vishnu for picking up the sufferers of hell-fire to the Abode of Vishnu.

I always  salute Lord Shree Vishnu in the form of Nrsimha, the recital of whose Holy Name is so mighty as it took the hellish organisms to Shree Vishnu-Loka. I also salute the people frequently who salute Lord Shree Vishnu in the form of Nrsimha".
