Verses 11.3.47-48 - Tantrik Sadhana and Murti of own choice
As you know Bhagavan Shree Krishna has prescribed mixed sadhana for current Kali-Yuga - that is
Vaidik + Tantrik. So, in the Verses 11.3.47-48 Bhagavan Shree Krishna says:
य आशु हृदयग्रन्थिं निर्जिहीऋषुः परात्मनः
विधिनोपचरेद्देवं तन्त्रोक्तेन च केशवम्
|
ya Ashu hR^idayagranthiM nirjihIR^iShuH parAtmanaH

महापुरुषमभ्यर्चेन्मूर्त्याभिमतयात्मनः
|

mahApuruShamabhyarchenmUrtyAbhimatayAtmanaH
|
Verse 48 says about "Murti, bhakta has affection for", that is not necessary Bhagavan Shree Krishna, but Any Avatara of Bhagavan Shree Narayana (for example, Bhagavan Shree Varaha or Shree BalaGopala).
Translation 47. Whoever is desirous of instantaneously cutting asunder the knot (of egotism) of the heart of his self which is Brahman himself, should, in addition to the Vedic rites, perform The Worship of Lord Keshava in the manner prescribed in the (PanchaRatra) Tantra.
Translation 48. After getting oneself initiated (in the Tantrika path) through the grace of the spiritual preceptor and being shown the technical method of worship by his guru, he should worship the Supreme Person in the form of (whatever) image (of the Lord) that he likes the best.
Verse 11.3.53 - Akshatas should be applied only to The Forehead of Bhagavan Shree Narayana
Verse 11.3.53 mentions Akshatas (अक्षत - akSata - unhusked grains). OM VishnuPad Shridhara Swami makes special remarks about akshatas (click the below cite-screenshot to enlarge or see on minus and dropbox):

Verse 11.3.55 - Proper Dhyanas for Mukti
In the concluding Verse (11.3.55) Bhagavan Shree Krishna tells about proper Dhyanas for Mukti.
Great Verse, as for me, I follow to Sun/Moon Dhyana and Heart Dhyana from this Verse:
एवमग्न्यर्कतोयादावतिथौ हृदये च यः
यजतीश्वरमात्मानमचिरान्मुच्यते हि सः
|
evamagnyarkatoyAdAvatithau hR^idaye cha yaH

|
Translation 55. He who worships Bhagavan Shree Vishnu, the Supreme Soul as present in the fire, the Sun, the water, etc., in the guest (who arrives unexpectedly) and in his own heart, is liberated (from sansara) before long.
