I am preparing the Russian translation of "Shree Tiruppavai" nowadays with the extended Vaidik and Puranik explanations.
"eSha brahmapraviShTo" Pramana is quite famous, but I have a hunch that not everybody remembers the full verse, because usually it is being cited in an abridged way - like "esha brahma pravishto" only.
I have spent around 10 minutes right now to find the full version of this Pramana and the exact verse number in the various editions of "Shree MahaBharata". Finally, I have found it in the GRETIL edition - in their edition it is the Verse 12,171.050a in "Shanti-Parva".
So, the full version sounds in the following way:
एष ब्रह्मप्रविष्टो ऽहं ग्रीष्मे शीतम् इव ह्रदम्
शाम्यामि परिनिर्वामि सुखम् आसे च केवलम्
eSha brahmapraviShTo .ahaM grIShme shItam iva hradam
shAmyAmi parinirvAmi sukham Ase cha kevalam
Translation (from divyaprabandham.koyil.org): "Like immersing in a cool pond during a hot summer day, AthmA (jiva) stays satisfied on attaining bhagavAn (Bhagavan Shree MahaNarayana)". ["Shree MahaBharata", Shanti-Parva, 12.171.050]
This Praman is very useful to know when you explain Verse NO. 01 of "Shree Tiruppavai" by Shreemati Goda-Devi (the Verse in which Shreemati Andal-Devi calls Gopis for bathing in Krishna-Bhakti-Rasa and Krishna-Samslesha-Anubhava).
This simple Pramana sounds greatly when it is paired with purely Vaidika Pramanas like, for example, अम्भस्यपारे भुवनस्य मध्ये - ambhasyapAre bhuvanasya madhye (Mantra NO. 01 of "Shree MahaNarayana-Upanishad" from YajurVeda)!
