VAISHNAVI: Also known as Narayani, She wields the Conch and the Disc in Her Arms reminiscent of MahaVishnu.
The other 2 Hands naturally show the Abhaya and the Varada poses. She is endowed with a Charming Countenance and an Excellent, Shapely Body.
Her Pretty Eyes could recite a million tales. Like Her Male Counterpart (Shree MahaVishnu) She possesses a Dark Complexion. She is draped in exquisite yellow garments.
All the opulent ornaments associated with MahaVishnu adorn Her Person.
A marvellous kirita-makuta crowns Her Head. Garuda, the trust-worthy Vahana of ManaVishnu, serves both as Her vehicle and as the emblem of Her banner.
Vaishnavi, the possessor of such amazing charms resides under a Raja Vriksha.
"Vishnu-Dharmottara", however, presents a picture of a Six-Armed Vaishnavi, similar to Brahmani.
In addition to the 2 Hands which reveal the traditional poses, the 2 other Left Hands clasp the Shankha and the Chakra while the 2 Right Hands grasp the Gada and the Padma.
"Devi-Purana", in consonance with another literary work known as "KaranAgama", represents Vaishnavi as wearing Vanamala , the characteristic Garland of MahaVishnu. She is granted 4 Hands which hold the Shankha, Chakra, Gada and the Padma.
