त्वन्मायामूढमनसो जन्ममृत्युजरादिकान् /
अवाप्य पापान् पश्यन्ति प्रेतराजानम् अन्तरा // १९६.४२ //
ततः पाशशतैर् बद्धा नरकेष्व् अतिदारुणम् /
प्राप्नुवन्ति महद् दुःखं विश्वरूपम् इदं तव // १९६.४३ //
अहम् अत्यन्तविषयी मोहितस् तव मायया /
ममत्वागाधगर्तान्ते भ्रमामि परमेश्वर // १९६.४४ //
सो ऽहं त्वां शरणम् अपारम् ईशम् ईड्यं १९६.४५अ
संप्राप्तः परमपदं यतो न किंचित् १९६.४५ब्
संसारश्रमपरितापतप्तचेता १९६.४५च्
निर्विण्णे परिणतधाम्नि साभिलाषः १९६.४५द्
"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.42: "People whose minds are deluded by Your Maya attain birth, death, old age etc. of a sinful nature. They see the King of the dead in the middle".
"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.43-45: "Then those men are bound by means of hundreds of nooses in hells.
They attain very terrible misery. This is your Cosmic Form. I am very much sensuous. I am deluded by your Maya, O Great Lord, I wander amidst deep pits of 'my-ness'.
I have sought refuge in You, The Primordial Isha. My mind is distressed due to exhaustion and agony of worldly existence. I am desirous of finding Shelter in You, being disgusted with worldly affairs."
