Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi as भार्गवी (Bhargavi) and Lord's Love which He showers on his devotees just like rain from the clouds


I have been re-reading "AV037 - Varaha Puranam" from SADAGOPAN.ORG today, enjoying the glosses on "Shree VarahaCharamaShloka". 

The Book has the following line: "Mutthuswami Deekshithar’s Sri Lakshmi VarAHam krithi set in AbhOgi raagam is a beautiful one saluting this avathAram as that of Sriman NaarAyaNA. Lakshmi never leaves Him in any avathAram". 
The most beautiful Alankara in this Kriti is that Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi is called भार्गवी  ("BHARGAVI"), please refer to this Verse - paṅkaja mukha bhārgavī bhāvitaṃभार्गवी "BHARGAVI" translates as "Radiant, Beautiful and Charming".
भार्गवी ("BHARGAVI") is rather rare Name in Shakti Sahasranams and you can find "BHARGAVI" only in "Shree MahaLakshmi-Sahasranam" from "Shree Brahma-Purana", Verse 93:


अरुन्धती वसुमती भार्गवी वास्तुदेवता ।

मायूरी वज्रवेताली वज्रहस्ता वरानना ॥ ९३ ॥ 

arundhatI vasumatI bhArgavI vAstudevatA |
mAyUrI vajravetAlI vajrahastA varAnanA || 93 || 

I have tried to find good audio rendering for Mutthuswami Deekshithar’s Sri Lakshmi VarAHam krithi, but
have failed as the Kriti is rather rare. Still, there are very beautiful translations and glosses in other blogs, I will cite.
In the following blog the very exciting remark about Shyama Colour of Bhagavan Shree Varaha is made: 
"Dikshithar beautifully describes the Lord as follows: " Whose body("Gaathram") is a dark blue-black("Shyamala") colour resembling the dark rain-bearing clouds("Neela Megha"), who is the object of praise("Stuthi Paathram") of Niladevi and Bhudevi. 

He is the friend("Mithram") of the blue necked("Neela kanta") Lord Shiva and Lord Subrahmanya. He removes("Daathram") fears and miseries("Bhayaarthi") of all his devotees("Nikhila Bhaktha Jana")."

In the anupallavi, there is an explicit reference of the Lord's skin colour to the dark rain clouds. We may also interpret this as an implicit reference to the Lord's Love which He showers on his devotees just like rain from the clouds".

Simple translation (from http://www.shivkumar.org/music/srilakshmivaraham.pdf): I worship Lakshmi Varaaha, who is with Lakshmi and gives happiness to those who take refuge in Him. 

Whose body is dark like monsoon cloud, who is the object of praise by Nilaadevi and Bhudevi. 

He is the friend of Nilakanta, the blue-necked one and Guruguha. He removes fear and miseries from all the devotees. Whose feet is adorned by the auspicious Raga Abhogi, He is worshipped by virtuous, praised by Vedas. 

He delights Sankara, enriches Kubera, the God of wealth. 

He adorns conch and discus, full of compassion, worshipped by Brahma and other important ones. He is meditated upon by Lakshmi with the Lotus face, adorns garland of lotus. He resides on the banks of the river Tamraparni. 

He absolves obstacles and is always blissful.

[Who is with (“sahitam”) Shree Lakshmi and gives (“pradam”) happiness (“shuba”) to all those (“sritajana”) who take refuge in Him.]

[He is the friend (“Mithram”) of Nilakanta Shiva, the blue-necked (“Nila kanta”) one and Guruguha. He removes (“Dathram”) fear and miseries (“Bhayarthi”) from all (“Nikhila”) the devotees (“Bhakthajana”).] 

[Worshipped (“sevitham”) by Brahma (“Pankajasana”) and other important (“pramukha”) ones. He is meditated (“bhavitham”) upon by Lakshmi (“bhargavi”) with the Lotus face (“Pankaja mukha”).]

[Adorns garland of lotus. He resides (“astham”) on the banks (“theera”) of the river Tamraparni. He absolves (“hara”) obstacles (“sankata”) and is (“sahitham”) always (“sadaa”) blissful (“ananda”)]
