In Kali-Yuga people have mostly animal-tamasik aptitudes, that's why OM VishnuPad Manavala Mamunigal have pasted this Verse in "Shree Yatiraja-Vimshati":
वृत्या पशुर्नरवपुस्त्वहमीदृशोपि
श्रुत्यादिसिद्धनिखिलात्मगुणाश्रयोऽयम्
इत्यादरेण कृतिनोऽपि मिथः प्रवक्तुं
अद्यापि वञ्चनपरोऽत्र यतीन्द्र वर्ते ।। ७ ।।
vRRityA pashurnaravapustvahamIdRRishopi
shrutyAdisiddhanikhilAtmaguNAshrayo.ayam
ityAdareNa kRRitino.api mithaH pravaktuM
adyApi va~nchanaparo.atra yatIndra varte || 7 ||
Oh Yatindra ! I am a veritable animal in human form,
Considering my code of conduct;
I am still here an imposter,
making even knowledgable persons
zealously take me as
the repository of all qualities,
good and soulful,
true to Vedic norms.
