English annotation by Vishnudut1926: Brilliant survey by H. Daniel Smith. It contains synopses of major PanchaRatra-Agamas, for example, "Shree Vishvamitra-Samhita", "Shree Sattvata-Samhita", "Shree Parama-Samhita" and etc.
The synopses of this range can be useful for the beginners or, for example, for those ones, who want to study a certain Samhita and wish to know a text's blueprint/structure beforehand.
H. Daniel Smith's style is the top-notch one: he had managed to retell Samhitas without deviating into too much academic or too wishy-washy styles.
His synopses are devoid of mistakes - the only arguable claim he makes is the attribution of "Shree Brihad-Brahma-Samhita" to the Tenkalai Branch of Shree Ramanuja-Sampradaya - such attribution is wrong due to many reasons.
The rest is on the top-notch level, so I highly recommend to study this edition.
