Вторая жизнь нетбука с помощью Linux MX-16...

Synopsis in English: Very positive review about Linux MX-16 (this system is subsequent to MX-15), you can reanimate any old netbook (for example, Asus-EEE) via this very fast and optimized-for-old-machines OS!

Я в прошлом году писала про Linux MX-15 (вот этот обширный пост). Недавно вышла Linux MX-16 (ссылка на оф.сайт). Система стала еще быстрее и гениальнее. 

В прошлый раз я устанавливала MX-15 на Fujitsu Amilo (старый ноутбук на 2 ядрах, х64), в этот раз решила установить на Asus-EEE (32 разряда, i686 - смотрите данные на картинке в начале поста) и была шокирована тем насколько система быстро работает!

Воодушевленная мегапоказателями MX-16, я сделала из старого нетбука:

1. Аниме-станцию 

(парадоксально, но MX-16 

без проблем играет 

даже тяжелые mkv-файлы, 

но не все, на некоторых есть лаги). 

2. Торренто-качалку (использую гениальную и быструю Transmission, которая идеально работает под Linux, но не под Windows увы). 

Я уже через свой мелкий ноутбук накачала кучу библиотек с wav-сэмплами и много фильмов (объем диска в 160 гб, так что качать можно много!)

3. Печатную машинку, естественно. 

Одна из статей по "Шри Вачана-Бхушанам" была напечатана именно в MX-16. Любимая многими Libre Office работает просто идеально!

4. Смотрельщик фильмов. Со стандартными avi-файлами по 1.5 ГБ у MX-16 вообще нет проблем. 

Более того, в VLC можно выставлять скорость 1.5 и 2.0 - именно на этих скоростях я уже просмотрела "Троллей" (мультфильм) и вторую часть "Алисы" (та, которая "Alice through the looking glass", не знаю как она на русском называется!). 

За что я обожаю MX-16 - это за отстутствие проблем с wifi-модулями - интернет начинает работать сразу после установки. Но в плане интернета не ожидайте высоких показателей: современные браузеры очень прожорливы и вкладки в chrome открываются медленно. 

В целом, для восстановления любого старого ноутбука/компьютера/нетбука MX-16 на данный момент является самой сбалансированный и красивой системой!

9. One should respect all, love all and should be ever ready to serve all. 

10. One should not reason with others, should not enter into discussion or controversy with others. 

11. One should have a firm belief and supreme faith in God and His Name, His devotees, and works dealing with His Bhakti. 

12. One should never denounce others’ religion or mode of worship. 

13. One should not detect others' faults; let him discover his own faults and expose them. 

14. One should serve his parents and other elders, as well as his master. 

15. One should meditate on or mentally worship the Lord and recite prayers to Him both in the morning and evening every day.

16. One should repeat the Divine Name of his choice at least 25,000 times daily. One can complete this number by completing 16 malas (or rosaries of 108 heads each) of the following Mantra:

Первый крапивный (2017)...

Сегодня один из самых мощных солнечных дней, девчонки! Температура примерно 16 градусов тепла, отгуляла только что в парке примерно 2 часа. На некоторых полянах уже появились съедобные ростки крапивы, в общем, я уже варю первый весенний крапивный суп. 

Сегодня меня подвело то, что не было с собой мешка и ножниц (ножа) для сбора урожая, пришлось рвать рукой, наряженной в целлофан + урожаи еще не очень мощные, но при такой погоде к пятнице уже можно снимать полноценные урожаи молодой, вкуснейшей крапивки!!!! 

На фото я держу куст крапивы красивым салатовым мешком, чтобы не ужалить руки!

17. One should induce all the members of his family (including ladies, gentlemen, and children) to chant the Divine Name in a chorus and with absorbed attention at least for 15 minutes regularly every day.

18. One should read at least one chapter of Shrimad-Bhagavata daily, keeping one's eye on its meaning as well. 

19. One should make it a point to have the Darshan of an Image of the Lord daily. 

If he has got a temple close to his house and if he is entitled to visit it, he should visit the same, or else he may keep an Image or Picture of the Lord at his own house and obtain its Darshan. 

This, as well as the following item, is meant for only those who believe in Idol-Worship. 

It should, however, be borne in mind here that those who practise Idol-Worship so-called do not really worship The Idol as such but The Lord Himself Who is present in The Idol. 

20. As far as possible, one should practise Idol-Worship daily. Ladies need not go to a temple: they should keep an Image of the Lord at their own house and worship it with due ceremony. 

21. One should turn his back upon all worldly things as objects of enjoyment, but should learn to love them all as so many images of the Lord.

22. One should never entertain doubts regarding God and His Incarnations nor as regards saints and godly men. 

23. One should read, hear discourses on and ponder over the meaning of, books like 

the Upanishads, Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita, Shrimad Bhagavata-Purana (at least Book 11), Mahabharata (at least ShantiParva and AnushasanaParva), the Ramayana of Valmiki, the RamaCharitaManas of Goswami Tulasidas, SundaraVilasa of SundaraDas, the DashaBodha of Samartha Ramdas, the BhaktaMala

and other lives of saints and devotees, and other such books.

   

24. Instead of trying to ascertain the dates of incarnation of Sri Rama, Sri Krsna, Sri Narasimha and Other Incarnations of the Lord and submitting their lives to a critical test, one should remember Them and adore Them with devotion. 

One who partakes of the mango fruit is wiser than one who is engaged in the vain pursuit of counting the trees.

 Life is too short to be frittered away in trifles.

Это типичная butthurt-тема (как и вся компаративная лингвистика), потому что различные группировки лингвистов расходятся по этому вопросу. 

Кстати, эта же теория мельком упоминается в жутко распиаренной и дрянной книжке "Как я изучаю языки" Като Ломб (я позже напишу рецензию на нее и поставлю ей 0 из 5), там мельком говорится, что тоже - праиндоевропа, единый кластер где-то в Европе и т.п. 

Напомню, что мы (Вайшнавы) верим, что все языки происходят от Санскрита и что все существующие языки, кроме Санскрита, являются языками-бастардами-деривативами от Санскрита (посмотрите, например, на уродский Хинди или Бенгали или Гуджарати или французский и т.д. - те, кто их учил, знают насколько они алогичны и тупы). 

Keep a spiritual diary...

You injure another man on account of ignorance. If you always bear in mind that you see God in every man and animal, and that God is sealed in the hearts of all living beings, you will not injure anybody. 

You begin to injure others the moment you forget to see God in others.

Keep a spiritual diary. Note down in the diary when you become angry towards others, and when you hurt the feelings of others. 

This is very, very important. 

If you exhibit anger or hurt others, impose punishment on yourself. Give up meals at night. Do Japa, 50 Malas more. 

If you proceed in this way for one or two years, you will doubtless achieve remarkable Shanti (peace), wonderful spiritual progress and strong will-power. Many kinds of miseries, troubles and mental worries will come to an end. 

Devotion will develop. You will evolve rapidly.

Great speech, it is just one massive sentence (!!!) and it occupied half-a-page in "Kalyana-Kalpataru":

"The attainment of Divinity (with all the five concomitant parts thereof hereinbefore described) being - consciously or unconsciously - our heart’s one and only real Lakshya (लक्ष्य - Goal and Aspiration), this alone being the Ideal which our heart always keeps hungering, thirsting and panting after the realization of, and Sanatana Dharma being the only system of thought which has ever postulated that Ideal and places that ideal before us to aspire and seek to attain, teleological and ontological considerations make it incontrovertibly clear — and it stands to reason and is in the fitness of things, nay, perfectly, naturally and absolutely inevitable for us to infer herefrom — that Sanatana Dharma is the only path which can possibly fulfil and satisfy this Godward aspiration of our heads and our hearts".

Cosmic Temple...

"Every activity, however insignificant or small, can be sublimated into worship, provided it is performed in a true spirit of prayerfulness, self-dedication and self-surrender. 

The whole Universe, then, transforms into the Cosmic Temple and God, the Omnipresent Supreme Lord, accepts all our actions, physical and mental, like consecrated offerings. 

It is not the flowers or fruits which are accepted by the Lord, but the genuine sincerity, devotion, faith and self-surrender, which are more valuable to Him than all the materials of worship. 

Therefore the Lord advises us to surrender ourselves with all our actions completely at His sacred feet and cross the ocean of Samsara by elevating work into worship, treading the path of Dedication and Consecration:

Synopsis in English: There is The State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow, just in 20 minutes from house by underground. 

I am scrolling through the book, they published in 2013 and, amusing fact, - they have The Murtis of Shree Shree Lakshmi-Narasimha, Shree BalaKrishna, Shreemati Durga-Devi and Shree Jagannatha in their collection (see the photos below).

Листаю сейчас книгу, изданную к 90-летию музея Востока в Москве (2013 года). Называется "Искусство и культура Индии. Путеводитель по постоянной экспозиции и коллекции ГМВ (Карлова Е.В.)". 

Забавно, но оказывается, в этом музее есть Мурти Шри Шри Лакшми-Нарасимхи, Шри БалаКришны, Шримати Дурги-Деви и Шри Джаганнатхи! 

При этом Джаганнатха представлен просто сверхмощно - там есть не только нижеуказанный переносной алтарь, а очень много полотен и т.п.

Вот что пишут академики своим криволапым, сухим языком - мы с МахаЛакшмёнышем ржали как кони над совсем уж унылым и безэмоциональным переводом стихов Шримати Миры Баи-Деви (смотрите на скрине):

В этом же музее оказывается есть несколько статуэток Кришныча в Образе Младенца (Шри Бала-Кришна), вот что написано:

Забавная книга для листания #под вокальный транс# -  есть на озон аж за 859 рублей, но я, естественно, свою версию получила бесплатно...

Часто это могут быть Кришна или Дурга....

Вот еще, кстати, очень интересное наблюдение из книги музея Востока. Шримати Манаси-Деви действительно очень популярна! 

Если будете искать информацию, то в гугле нужно искать как "Mansa Devi". На самом деле, Шримати Манаси-Деви - это Шри Дургушёныш, так как усмирение змей - это всегда Дургуша и Шива. 

Либо Шримати МахаЛакшми-Деви, Бхагаван Шри Нараяна, Гаруда и Ананта-Шеша.......но, говоря о Бенгалии, мы прежде всего говорим о Шримати Дурге-Деви или Кришнёне - оба Культа (Дурга и Кришна) сильны именно в Бенгалии.

"Деревенские божества повсеместно в Индии, и в Бенгале в том числе, могут иметь зооморфную или териоморфную форму. Особенно распространено почитание змей, в частности кобр. 

В округах Банкура, Бирбхум и Мединипур поклоняются местной богине Манасе в форме змеи. 

Здесь можно встретить посвященные ей небольшие храмы, однако зачастую алтарь располагается прямо под открытым небом. 

На таких уличных алтарях поклоняются не изображению самой Манасы, а небольшому глиняному горшку своеобразной формы - он считается персонификацией богини и носит название манаса гхат.

Такие алтари носят название манаса чхали или манаса джхар. Структурно они представляют собой перевернутый глиняный горшок, сверху на котором установлена ярусная композиция с полукруглым навершием в виде ряда капюшонов кобр.

В центре расположено изображение божества - это не обязательно Манаса, часто это могут быть Кришна или Дурга. 

Более того, среди всех фигур алтаря Манаса может быть вовсе не представлена, присутствуя на нем умозрительно в виде змеиных капюшонов".

Shree Krishna Trichambram Mandir...

WHILE SCROLLING THROUGH "SAPTAGIRI" (MARCH, 1996 ISSUE) I HAVE STUMBLED UPON THE ARTICLE ABOUT SHREE KRISHNA TRICHAMBRAM MANDIR.   

The Mandir is rather unusual: it comprises The Murti of Bhagavan Shree Krishna in "raudra posture" (ferocious) and The Murti of Shreemati Durga-Devi (you can find basic info on wiki) 

And the article in "Saptagiri" (by prof. K.K. Moorty) traces the origin of Shree Krishna Trichambram Mandir to....Lord Shree Parashurama. 

So no wonder that Shree Krishna is in ferocious pose is installed. 

The following is the cite from the above-mentioned Saptagiri article:

"Once when Parashurama visited this place, He had a strange experience - He had a soul-lifting vision of Lord Krishna revealed after Kamsavadha (slaying of Kamsa). 

It was quite exulting and enchanting, for Krishna appeared in All His Splendour after the Jagadodna-ranakarya by killing the dushta rakshasa Kamsa. So his rapturous joy overflowed his whole frame, as it were. 

Soon Parasurama decided to perpetuate that jubilant mood of Krishna for adoration by humanity through an Image. A master sculptor was engaged. 

The artistry of the sculptor commissioned, reached the consummation point with the depiction of that happy mood in The Archa-Murti. Parasurama was pleased and consecrated it in The Temple built then.

Credit goes to Parashurama for installing this rarity for worship. He then stipulated elaborate injunctions for the conduct of nitya-naimithika prayer services".

And K.K. Moorty also mentions Shree Durga Shrine:

"Another worth seeing object in the complex is the Durga Shrine built in the central part of a pond lying to the north of the main entrance. 

The tank is held in high esteem; for, it has mystical powers. It never goes dry - the water level remains same in all seasons. 

The Tirtha is holy and people are prohibited from using it either for bathing or washing. 

The loveliness of this little pushkarini increases in the nights, when it reflects the flames of the oil lamps lit around the temple. For availing this spectacle devotees prefer visiting it in nights".

Как следует из названия "Шри СадханАмрита-Чандрика" - это практическое руководство, посвященное Бхакти-Садхане. 

Структурно "Шри СадханАмрита-Чандрика" строится как классическая Гаудия-Тантра: 

сначала идут Дхьяны и Мантры Гаура-Лилы (Шри Чайтанья МахаПрабху, Шри Адвайта-Прабху и, например, Шри Гададхара-Пандит, я публиковала Его Пранама-Мантру в этом посте), затем самая вкуснейшая часть - в ней рассказывается о садхане, посвященной Бхагавану Шри Кришне, Шримати Радхарани-Деви, Ашта-Гопикам (этот пост) и Манджари.

Из классических, но не из Гаудия-Канона, неожиданно цитируется.....родная и одна из самых любимых на свете (потому что там Мантры Шримати МахаЛакшмёныша, Дургушечки и Шримати АннаПурночки-Деви!!!) - Шактисткая "Шри Шарада-Тилака-Тантра"!

Хотя, кстати, несколько Глав "Шри Шарада-Тилаки-Тантры" посвящены чистому Вайшнавизму, а именно Шри Нарасимха и Шри Кришна садханам (и еще нескольким Вайшнавским - Шри Хаягрива, Шри Джаганнатха и нескольким другим).

Так что если вы коллекционируете Тантры, посвященные Радхушёнышу и Кри, то очень советую скачать этот скан на диски/флэшки/облачные хранилища и т.д. - https://archive.org/details/sadhanamrita_chandrika

Среда - день Меркурия и зеленого горошка...

Synopsis in English: Telling about green and yellow peas in Moscow supermarkets (you can buy 1 kg of dry yellow peas for just 40 american cents!!!)

Среда - день Меркурия, моей Атма-Караки, вечно-изумрудной планеты! 

Мой организм сегодня неожиданно запросил свежий зеленый горошек, пришлось побегать по магазинам в поисках не свежего, а мороженого в пакете, который прекрасно подходит как замена свежему.  

Оказалось, что у нас на Измайловской ярмарке ларьки с морожеными овощами вообще куда-то пропали, в "Доброноме" и "Перекрестке" такого горошка тоже нет. Зато он нашелся в "Дикси". 

Как его съесть? Я ем мороженный горох из пакета следующим образом. Сначала где-то 3 минуты замачиваю его в теплой воде, чтобы он отморозился (именно теплой c уклоном в прохладную - слишком горячая вода или кипяток превратят горошек в склизкое месиво), после этого сливаю воду через дуршлаг и все горох можно есть. 

Заодно в "Дикси" нашелся гениальный сухой, желтый, круглый (именно круглый, не в дольках) горох всего по...........26 рублей (!!!!!!!!) за огромный пакет. 

Вообще, ценообразование на сухой горох в московских супермаркетах - это загадка. И в Магните и в Дикси его можно найти по 20 рублей за пачку, несмотря на то, что горох - очень благородная культура.

Благодаря таким ценам из серии "отдаю даром" в Москве можно круглый год просто обжираться классическим индийским кичри на горохе, что я и делаю! 

Аналогично, рис. Если не покупать дорогие "Мистрали" по 120 рублей за пачку, а брать какой-нибудь краснодарский noname по 35 рублей, то питание получается почти бесплатным!
