The Dialogue of Bhagavan Shree Krishna and Mucukunda

The Dialogue of Bhagavan Shree Krishna and Mucukunda in "Shree Brahma-Purana" is very beautiful, sounds like very hi-quality sci-fi movie.

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.23-25.

After reducing that sinner Muchukunda looked at Bhagavan Shree Krishna and said: "Who are you?"

Lord Shree Krishna said:

"I am born of The Lunar Race. I am the son of Vasudeva, The Scion of The Family of Yadu".

On hearing it Mucukunda remembered the words of the elderly Gargya.

After recollecting everything he bowed down to Lord Shree Krishna, The Lord of all Identical with everyone.

Mucukunda said: "You are The Greatest Ishvara. You are born of Bhagavan Shree Visnu's part.

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.26. Formerly, this was mentioned by Gargya - Bhagavan Shree Hari will take birth in The Line of Yadu towards the end of Dvapara Yuga in the 28th cycle of four Yugas".

Amba Nilayatakshi

This is very beautiful Song, I have found it while reading "THE SPIRITUAL HERITAGE OF TYAGARAJA" (E-BOOK link) and bookmarked in order to find the original Lyrics later.

The following Lyrics and translation from http://sahityam.net/wiki/Amba_Nilayatakshi

ambā nīlāyatākṣi karuṇā kaṭākṣi
akhila lōka sākṣi kaṭākṣi

Oh Mother Neelayatakshi, the Goddess with blue eyes, show mercy, The one who bears witness to the entire universe, show grace.

Anupallavi
bimbādhari citprati-bimbā dhari
bindu nāda vaśaṅkari śaṅkari
(madhyama kāla sāhityam)
ambujā ramaṇa sōdari ati rathi
ambari kādambari nīlāmbari

The One whose lips are sweet and red like the bimbA fruit, bears the reflection of consciousness.

The One who absorbs the sounds of the subtle emanations of the nada bindu, the ever-auspicious.

The Sister of The Husband of Lakshmi, the expert charioteer.

The one who pervades the realm of space, wears the Kadamba flowers and wears blue silk.

Charanam

śiva kāyārōhaṇēśōllāsini4 cidrūpa vilāsini
nava yōgini cakra vikāsini nava rasa dara hāsini
suvarṇa-maya vigraha prakāśini suvarṇa-maya hāsini
(madhyama kāla sāhityam)
bhuvanōdaya sthiti laya vinōdini
bhuvanēśvari kṣipra prasādini
nava māṇikya vallakī vādini
bhava guru guha vēdini sammōdini

Aishwarya way of killing

The killing of Kamsa scene in "Shree Brahma-Purana" accentuates the Divine Nature of Bhagavan Shree Krishna, as Lord Shree Krishna killed Kamsa by just falling on him.

Someone may think that Lord Shree Krishna is lean and of light weight, but

Imperishable Being amongst the perishable ones

Chapter 192 (192 in GRETIL version, but 84 in English Motilal Edition) of "Shree Brahma-Purana" describes the Vision of Lord Shree Krishna and Lord Shree BalaRama by Akrura.

Dazzling Verses in Aishvarya-mood. I was amazed to find out that

Very beautiful Verse about The Loka of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu. In Sanskrit:

परमानन्दजननं सर्वकामफलप्रदम् /
विष्णुलोकात् परं लोकं नात्र पश्यामि भो द्विजाः // ६८.६९ //

paramAnandajananaM sarvakAmaphalapradam /
viShNulokAt paraM lokaM nAtra pashyAmi bho dvijAH // 68.69 //

Water sanctified by Lord Krishna against pishacas, graha doshas...

Sometimes people ask if there are exorsism rites in Vaishnavism. The simple answer is yes, but most of them are hidden in Vaishnava Tantras.

Though, there is a simple way to remove

तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः

A number of Verses in "Shree Brahma-Purana" is based on repeating patterns, for example:

लक्ष्मीपङ्कजषट्चरण (lakShmIpa~NkajaShaTcharaNa)

Chapter 62 (or 65 in Sanskrit editions) of "Shree Brahma-Purana" contains very beautiful and simple "Jaya Jaya" Hymn, Devoted to Bhagavan Shree Krishna.

I fell in love with The Phrase लक्ष्मीपङ्कजषट्चरण (lakShmIpa~NkajaShaTcharaNa), used in the Hymn.

It translates as "Bhagavan Shree Vishnu Who Acts Like a Bee towards Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi (Who Plays The Role of Lotus Flower for The Bee)".

BEAUTIFUL COMPARISON.

By the way, the next epithet in The Hymn is जय जय भक्तवश (jaya jaya bhaktavasha).

It translates as "Bhagavan Shree Krishna Who is influenced by His bhaktas" and the epithet itself is very consonant and conformable with "Shree Krishna-Karshini" Siddhanta I have posted about today - http://vishnudut1926.blogspot.ru/2015/05/shree-krishna-karshini-how-to-become.html

And the Hymn sounds like this:

Why Jyestha Month is called Dashahara?

The considerable part of "Shree Brahma-Purana" is Devoted to Bhagavan Shree Jagannatha Worship and especially The Triad of Shreemati Subhadra-Devi, Bhagavan Shree Krishna and Bhagavan Shree BalaRama.

I will post the corresponding Chapters later, but

"VenkaTEsha ninnu" by OM VishnuPad Tyagaraja

Very Beautiful Song with dazzling poetic images. The final part of the Song is very beautiful, I mean line "Whose Feet Shine with Incomparable Brilliance".

English translation from "The Spiritual Heritage of Tyagaraja" by C. Ramanujachari:

Oh Venkatesha Who has taken abode on Seshachala and in the hearts of yogis!

One should have myriad eyes to see you in Glory with such a Beautiful Rupam.

You are praised on all sides that You are The Highest of the deities,

Your mere darshana will surely secure salvation for those who pine with devotion for You.

As probably the result of some meritorious deed of mine, I have tasted the nectar of Thy Sweet Name and have thus secured a stepping stone to reach You, Whose Feet Shine with Incomparable Brilliance.

B.K.S. Iyengar "Yoga. The Path to Holistic Health"

I am leafing over B.K.S. Iyengar "Yoga. The Path to Holistic Health" during my meals. In my opinion this is the best and the most reasonable Yoga compendium ever written.

The design of the Book is visually dazzling. Moreover, The Ishta-Devas of B.K.S. Iyengar (Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi and Bhagavan Shree VenkatEshwara) are mentioned:

I can't upload the Book in my blog due to copyright (the policy of my blog is to upload old Books with no copyright troubles), but the Book is definitely worth of being in any Vaishnava-Library, especially if you are fond of Hatha-Yoga.

Warrior Asana

Never thought that Warrior Asana (Virabhadrasana) is dangerous for people with cardiac ailments, for me is one of the easiest Asanas, but:

B.K.S. Iyengar about Tadasana

My favourite Asana is Vriksasana, but Tadasana is one of the Mula Asanas:

Да, девчонки, Книга про ОМ ВишнуПад ТьягаРаджа-Ачарью оказалась мегапрорывной (на английском называется The Spiritual Heritage of Tyagaraja, by C. Ramanujachari with introduction by Dr V. Raghavan, Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, загружу в блог через неделю после того, как приведу скан в нормальный вид).

OM VishnuPad Tyagaraja's Mood is Sviya-Nayika

Oh, GREAT, Ramanujachari in "The Spiritual Heritage of Tyagaraja" writes that the Mood of OM VishnuPad Tyagaraja is Sviya-Nayika apart from Parakiya (by the way, for many reasons I absolutely hate the idea of Parakiya).

Tyagaraja Metaphors

One of the Main Books for me for spring 2015 is "The Spiritual Heritage of Tyagaraja" on 800 pages.

The following metaphors, showing that tender jiva is a stranger in impure sansara worlds are dazzling:

Лунная корона

Synopsis in English: I am telling about rare nature phenomenon known as Moonbow (something like rainbow halo around The Moon in the night), which I have observed on the night of 6th May of 2015. Such signs are very crucial for Bhakti-yog as according to Shakti-Tantras and Vishnu-Tantras they point at the very auspicious alterations in Bhakti-life.

Да, девчонки, позавчера над Москвой светилась очень необычная Луна, я была очень удивлена зрелищем.
