English annotation by Vishnudut1926: Very good research, but only 30% of it is dedicated to "the reformation of temple worship" theme. The rest 70% is the synopsis of basic Vishishta-Advaita and Shree Vaishnava-PanchaRatra ideas.

Good book for the beginners. As usually I have optimized the scan - 1-page binding, just 19MB, great for 10-inches screens, notebooks and etc.

English annotation by Vishnudut1926: Nice edition of "Shree Sharanagati-Deepika" by Shree Vedanta Desika Acharya (The Founder of Vadakalai - The Northern Branch of Shree Ramanuja-Vaishnava-Sampradaya).

As usually the scan had been optimized by me for the reading from 10-inches tablets. Starting from March 2019 I am using new processing sequence for the scan optimization - this new method transforms huge 100MB scans into tiny 2MB scans. I will write later about this new processing method.

Very good research of philological type. The only bizzare moment I have found in this research is the musings about "mythological roots of Alwars" on first pages.

The rest of the research is great, it contains very good synopsis of principal Granthas written by Shree Pillai LokAcharya, Shree Vedanta Desika and other Sri Vaishnava Acharyas, see #this post as an example.

Вопросы: Панча-Самскара, обряды выжигания в Шри Рамануджа и Шри Мадхва Сампрадаях, обнуление Бхакти без "тапта-мудры", упрощенные ритуалы Кришна-Шаранагати, татуировки...

Вопрос: "Я несколько раз слышал от представителей Шри Рамануджа-Сампрадаи и Шри Мадхва-Сампрадаи идею о том, что Бхагаван Шри Вишну не принимает служение бхакта (шаранагаты), который не прошёл через обряд тапта-мудры ("тапта-мудра" = выжигание Шри Сударшана-Чакры и Раковины Бхагавана Шри Вишну на теле вайшнава/вайшнави с помощью специально подготовленных печатей). Это действительно так?".

Ответ by Vishnudut1926: "Да, всё верно, тапта-мудра (также известная как тапа-мудра или тапта-мудра-дхарана) является одним из обязательных ритуалов при инициации как в Шри Мадхва-Сампрадае, так и в Шри Рамануджа-Сампрадае.

В Шри Рамануджа-Сампрадае тапта-мудра выжигается только 1 раз в жизни, тогда как в Шри Мадхва-Сампрадае тапта-мудру нужно обязательно

Дерево под названием "Амалаки" (आमलकी - AmalakI - Indian gooseberry - Phyllanthus emblica) считается одним из священных деревьев в Вайшнавизме, поэтому Глава об Амалаки-Экадаши из "Шри Падма-Пураны" совмещает в себе непосредственно рассказ об Экадаши и Шри Амалаки-Махатмью (прославление дерева Амалаки).

На Санскрите "Амалаки" также часто называют "Дхатри" - धात्रि - dhAtri.

English annotation by Vishnudut1926: Very strict Vaishnava-Samhita for Parama-Aikantika Vaishnavas.

In spite of "Shree Narada-PanchaRatra" tag this Samhita tells nothing about Shreemati Radharani-Devi and Lord Shree Krishna - instead it offers very strict rules for prapannas (sharanagatas) of Bhagavan Shree Narayana.

"Shree Bharadvaja-Samhita" also contains a lot of rare Pramanas, for example, I found a lot of Pramanas explaining such Vaishnava concepts as "pancha-samskara" and "tapta-mudra".

For an instance, "Shree Bharadvaja-Samhita", 2.2.58 states the following about pancha-samskara:

तापस्तपांसि तीर्थानि पुण्ड्रं नाम नमस्क्रिया |

आम्नायाः सकला मन्त्रा क्रतवः पूजनं हरे ॥५८॥

tApastapAMsi tIrthAni puNDraM nAma namaskriyA |

AmnAyAH sakalA mantrA kratavaH pUjanaM hare ||58||

Translation: "In pancha-samskara:

1. Tapta-mudra contains all existing tapas (austerities)

2. Urdhva-Pundra contains all sacred Tirthas

3. Nama contains all forms of Vishnu-Bhakti

4. Mantra contains archanas to all existing devatas

5. Yajna contains all forms of worship to Bhagavan Shree Hari".

"Shree Bharadvaja-Samhita" also often stresses out the idea of Ekantika-Prapatti dedicated to Bhagavan Shree Vishnu.

Other sadhanas and other devatas worship is strictly forbidden, because those who try to worship Bhagavan Shree Vishnu and other devatas together (mixed way of worship, for example, Bhagavan Shree Vishnu + Shiva), eventually fall from the genuine Vaishnava-Dharma, turning into "prachyuta vaishnavas" ("deviated, fallen vaishnavas").

New enhanced scans of "Shree Rukminisha-Vijaya" (2 Volumes, Sanskrit + English)...

The enhanced version of "Shree Rukminisha-Vijaya" had been added to my E-Libraries. New scan contains OCR text layer (English), 2 Volumes in 1 pdf-file, it is also optimized for 10-inches tablets and various notebooks screens - 783 pages in just 71MB-size file.

I am preparing for the upload 18 various editions of "Shree Tiruppavai" by Shreemati Goda-Devi. I liked very simple, but very captivating edition by M.V. KrishnaSwamy. The quote above is from this edition, you can also check on #flickr or #plurk.
