English Annotation by Vishnudut1926 (written in November, 2014): Another masterpiece translation and glosses by Jankinath Kaul Kamal (earlier I have published "Shree Indrakshi Stotra" translated and annotated by him - link to E-Book).

This is the kind of the book you always place at the first place in your electronic reader in order either to re-read the book all your life or just to read several pages at random every day.

For me "Shree Lakshmi-Tantra", "Shreemati Lalita-Devi Sahasranam" with Acharya Bhaskararaya Tikas (link to E-BOOK) and "Shreemati Bhavani-Devi Sahasranam" are The Books of this kind. 

The glosses are very incredible. 

Even if you are incredibly mad about "Shree MahaLakshmi-Devi Sahasranam" or "Shree Durga-Devi Sahasranam" or "Shree MahaSaraswati-Devi Sahasranam" or "Shree Shyamala-Devi Sahasranam" rush to study "Shree Bhavani Sahasranam" in this translation! 

Unfortunately, I have no place for including "Shreemati Bhavani-Devi Sahasranam" in my Bhakti-Sadhana, but if you are floating in search for The Sahasranam of The Adi-Shakti (Deva-Devika) you wish to learn and adhere to for all your life, then "Shree Bhavani Nama Sahasra Stuti" will be the option of the best choice. 

CRUCIAL: The knowledge of Sanskrit and the knowledge of Nyasas is strictly demanded for reciting "Shree Bhavani Nama Sahasra Stuti". 

By the way if you know Sanskrit, you will notice that "Shree Bhavani Sahasranam" starts from the following very beautiful and rather unusual Mantra:

My 2 new readers with E-INK

SYNOPSIS IN ENGLISH: I have bought 2 new E-Ink readers for this winter and share my reading experience. 

На эту зиму докупила себе 2 ридера на электронных чернилах. 

Первый ридер - Onyx с поддержкой Moonlight (E-Ink Pearl HD), а второй очень простенький Digma. 

Итого, у меня сейчас 3 ридера на Андроид + 2 ридера с E-Ink. 

Странно, но мне жутко понравился очень дешёвый ридер от Digma. Своим топорным интерфейсом и тугим джойстиком он чем-то похож на старые черно-белые древние интерфейсы. 

Более того, копаясь в дисконте "Юлмарта", я нашла под него очень интересный бордовый чехол, который придаёт ему очень благородный вид. 

Я сегодня как раз написала в рецензии на 5 томов "Шримад-Бхагаватам" от Motilal Banasirdass, что эти сканы очень удобно ложатся на формат 6" данных ридеров. 

Вообще, все сканы Motilal Banasirdass подобного формата действительно очень удобны для ридеров с 6" экранами, только их нужно читать, переворачивая ридер вширь (как на фотографии в начале поста).

Но ридер от Onyx (Boox) намного более совершенен как электронная книга, потому что в нём есть:

1) Жирность шрифтов. Можно менять жирность даже в PDF-файлах, после этого даже самый плохой скан можно вывести на новый уровень читабельности. 

2) Moonlight (это такая подсветка). У электронных книг старого поколения не было данной опции, а она полностью меняет восприятие электронных чернил, так как создаёт особое пространство и позволяет читать даже в плохо освещённых комнатах.

It is very possible that blog will not updated for a very long time. 

I am too much in Love with Krishna and shun all the distractions, because I am overwhelmed by my Bhakti feelings (sincerely speaking, not by only Bhakti, but by simple girlish and wife's love feelings to Krishna).

So, I don't want to be apart from my Brilliant Lord even for a second. Just want to be glued to the Tender Body of Krishna in the bed all the time. 

All Krishna's Mistresses (Gopis) will understand me.  

The Only Wealth ("Chatushloki" by OM VishnuPad Vallabha-Acharya)

"Krishna is The Only Purushartha" - this is one of the most crucial Messages of Om VishnuPad VallabhaAcharya. 

In Kali-Yuga people devoid of Daivika-Gyana, so for them all the Purusharthas are tainted with disgusting selfish (ahankara-tainted) mundane attitude, though in reality in the mind of bhakti-yog all the Purusharthas must be ennobled by Daivika-attitude (Krishna-Attitude) only.

❀ So, instead accumulating wealth (ARTHA), we consider Lord Shree Krishna to be our Only Wealth.

❀ Instead of falling into shameful, horrible and disgusting marriage with common jivas (KAMA), we are Married to Bhagavan Shree Krishna Only.

❀ Instead of serving to society, relatives and etc. (DHARMA) we serve only to Bhagavan Shree Krishna.

❀ And instead of following to crestfallen and false heresies of Kali-Yuga (such as kaivalya-moksha, nirvana and etc.) we follow to the true concept of MOKSHA, which consists of being the eternal source of Bliss for Our Beloved Bhagavan Shree Vishnu.

The following is the cite from "SHRI VALLABHACHARYA HIS PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION" by Professor Jethalal G. Shan (LINK TO E-BOOK) - very magnificent synopsis of "Chatusshloki" by OM VishnuPad Vallabha-Acharya:

"Chatushloki is a small work containing only 4 verses, but it is pregnant with the philosophy of life of an ideal follower of Pushti Marga.  

In the Balbodha, Vallabhacharya referred to the four kinds of Purusharthas and stated that from the standpoint of a man of the world, salvation is the best Purushartha and to attain it one should be devoted to Vishnu.  

In this small work, He refers to the Purusharthas of the ideal follower of the Pushti Marga.  

He does not desire any worldly or heavenly happiness or attainment of the yogic powers or salvation also.  

He loves God so ardently that he scorns all these and derives happiness in the enjoyment of God’s love. To him God is his summum bonum.  

Vallabhacharya elsewhere defines these Purusharthas of a Pushti devotee, stating that: 

accepting the condition of God’s service as His servant is Dharma (Duty), 

God Himself as his Artha (Wealth), 

the desire to have vision of God is Kama and 

belonging to Him is salvation (Moksha).  

The Chatushloki elucidates these four Purusharthas. This work has 7 commentaries".

Our Adorable and Precious Krishna is especially fond of pink lotuses! 

Even The Dhyana of Our Enticing Husband starts from 8-Petaled Pink Lotus. Such the enticing and enthralling Dhyna! 

In Krishna-Dhyana Krishna is not Dark-Blue, but Brilliantly Light Blue. 

Krishna-Dhyana says: "In the centre of Pink Lotus Bhagavan Shree Krishna Brilliant as the full blown blue lotus"!

Krishna is usually clad in Yellow Garments. Remember that in The Spiritual World all the colours are enormously enhanced and advanced and don't resemble the colours of this world at all. 

So, if you truly feel Krishna-Dhyana, you will see Krishna in The Divine Brilliance of Golden-Yellow, Light Blue and Blazing Pink!

And Krishna is never alone, always surrounded by The Most Beloved Gopikas (Shreemati Radharani-Devi and Major Gopis) and by trillion of Other Gopikas! 

So, as you see Krishna-Dhyana is Highly Artistic and Charming!

But in The Homa only red lotuses must be used. 

So, the sequence is "PINK LOTUS - BRILLIANT BLUE LOTUS - RED LOTUSES".

Diamond Cage for the Black Age: Sui Generis "Shree Vajrapanjara Stotra" of Shreemati Durga-Devi

"Shree Skanda-Purana" is Divinely Unique. Volumes of Astonishing, Hair-Raising and Heart-Stopping Plots with associative arrays so heart-stirring...Words fail me here...

Actually, to speak in a "Honest to GOD" way, every time I read "Shree Lalitopakhyana" or the Stories from "Shree Skanda-Purana" or "Agni-Purana" (read the Story of The Appearance of The Ferocious Avatara of Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi from "Shree Agni-Purana", it will devoid you of sleep due to Love and Emotions) I feel like I am among the Most Darling Relatives in the World. 

The Girlish Part of Puranas always make you feel like you would like to be a dasi of The Ishvari, you are listening to about. 

When you, for example, read how Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi Drinks the wine from the gobblet and then Destroys everything around (in The Adhyay from "Shree Agni-Purana"), your only musing is: "What The Incredible GIRL MAHALAKSHMI IS, I want to be totally crushed by my girlish love for HER and I want to be only near HER as one from the trillion of Her dasis in order to serve HER". 

What is "Shree Vajrapanjara Stotra of Shreemati Durga-Devi"?

This Sui Generis Stotra is running after the Story of The Appearance of Shreemati Durga-Devi. 

In Sanskrit "वज्रपञ्जर - vajrapaJjara" means either "Very Secure Shelter" or "Adamantine Cage" or "The Diamond Fort". 

Actually, it is not The Stotra but STOTRA + KAVACHA and I was tremendously amazed, when started to read This Stotra as Stotra and started encountering the patterns like "Shiro me patu", inherent to Kavachas...

Then I was in a state of a sheer shock, which had been aggravated by the fact that The Namas of The Chief Shaktis of Shreemati Durga-Devi are being called to the attention in The Stotra too.

So, as you see The Stotra is really Heart-Blasting...

As for me, I am not going to add This Stotra-Kavacha to my sadhana, as I am totally addicted to my MahaLakshmi-Kavachas and Vishnu-Kavachas. 

But if you a Dasi of Adi-Shakti and just build/rebuild your SHAKTI-SADHANA, then do all the possible to learn This Stotra in Sanskrit. 

WHERE TO FIND "SHREE VAJRAPANJARA STOTRA OF SHREEMATI DURGA-DEVI": 

1) ENGLISH: It is Volume 11, Chapter 72, page 220 in the 2002 Motilal Banasirdass Edition of "Shree Skanda-Purana" (there is no use in English Variant from practical point of view, as all The Sanskrit Prayers must be recited ONLY IN SANSKRIT). 

2) SANSKRIT: "Shree Skanda-Purana", Book IV, Kashi-Khanda, UttarArdha, Adhyay 72

CRUCIAL: Don't confuse DurgA (दुर्गा - durgA: The Name Of Shreemati Durga-Devi ParaIshvari) and Durga (दुर्ग - durga: the name of the demon, crushed by Shreemati Durga-Devi). 

As you see, The Name of Our Adored ParaIshvari has prolonged "A" at the end, while the name of the demon has no prolonged vowels at all. 

Now, The English Translation (from Volume 11, Chapter 72, page 220 in the 2002 Motilal Banasirdass Edition of "Shree Skanda-Purana").
